Please call 713-661-1254 or email enrollments@fundamentallymusic.com. We will try to fit you into a class with space available as soon as possible. Please give us 24 hours advance notice and we will send you a passcode which you must have to enter class.

Makeups, Absences and Siblings

Make-Up Policy  
Two makeup classes are permitted each session. (extra makeups are allowed for medical reasons.) Consistency and predictability are very important to young children. We encourage you to attend your scheduled class.   Makeups may not be carried over into the next session, unless the absence was due to health reasons and the child is registered for the following session.

Makeup Procedure  
Makeups and absences can be scheduled either by email or through our office. To schedule by phone, call the office at 713-661-1254 at least two business days before the class you would like to attend or email us directly at makeups@fundamentallymusic.com.   When you schedule a makeup you will receive a pass code.  Be sure to bring it to class.  DON’T LOSE YOUR CODE! To control overcrowding, we will not allow you in without your correct pass code.  

Schedule Class Absences
If you let us know when you are going to miss a class we will open your spot for someone who would like to schedule a makeup.    Please schedule absences whenever possible.

Schedule Your Makeups Early
Because so many people wait to the end of the session to schedule their makeups it isn’t possible to accommodate everyone. Please do your best to schedule your makeups earlier in the session. You’re welcome to schedule a makeup before a scheduled absence.

Older Siblings
We understand that occasionally an older sibling will be out of school, camp or daycare on the day of your enrolled child’s music class.  We recommend that you miss your regular class and schedule a makeup for another day.  However, if you wish to try to bring your older sibling to class, please note that sibling visits are only available for children ages 4 and under. Call at least two business days before the class you would like to attend.  You can also send an email request to makeups@fundamentallymusic.com.  Sibling visits are available on a first come/first served basis and are not free.  Space is very limited in our classes so we will often not have room.
